Our Teachers
Rose Marie Avelar, Director of Children/Youth Services. Ms. Avelar supervises the operation of the Los Ninos Early Childhood Education. She has over twenty-six years of experience as a teacher, parent educator, and Child Care Director. She meets Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Director Qualifications and has received certification in bilingual education with a focus on early childhood education. Ms. Avelar has received a B.A. in Elementary Education and a M.A. in Religious Education.
Faith Davis, Lead Montessori Teacher. Ms. Davis has over twenty years of experience teaching children within the Montessori Method. Her past experience includes teaching art and Spanish at the Post Oak Montessori and Southampton Montessori School. In addition to teaching children, Ms. Davis also teaches seminars and classes to teachers and administrators at the Houston Montessori Center.
