Garden Oaks - Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction

In order to fulfill our financial objectives, Garden Oaks Chapter holds a major fundraising event each year.  The monies raised are used to maintain essential elements of the program. This includes classroom materials, teacher’s aides, and professional development.

The Garden Oaks Chapter is thrilled to be hosting the 14th Annual Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction on February 9th from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. This fun community wide event invites neighbors, Garden Oaks families and community leaders to enjoy free pancakes and sausage lovingly prepared by many of the Dads at the school. This is a fundraiser for our program and we anticipate another great turnout. We have many fun activities planned for the children, a moonwalk, dancing and singing, as well as hands on arts and crafts. You may also scoop up some sweet deals at the famous silent auction. A Parent orientation is also held at 10:00 a.m.  for families interested in attending the program during the 2008-2009 school year.

Throughout the year there will be other fundraising events.  This year, Garden Oaks will hold a Poinsettia Sale (Presale begins November 5th-16th, pick up Dec. 4th), and a Spring Family Event.
These events are coordinated through the efforts of many volunteers; from letter writing and flipping pancakes to translating and distributing flyers. It takes a lot of people to make all of these efforts a success!
